One performer, Amada Dominguez said, "I was able to get a full preview of the program at our dress rehearsal and I am proud to say that we have a very talented group of performers! I really believe that the audience will greatly enjoy the recital. They will be hearing some of opera’s most known and beloved arias and be exposed to a sometimes neglected musical form, the art song, which includes many gorgeous musical gems".
Chair of Vocal Art and Opera Program at CSULA, Dr. Susan Kane, was asked by Cathy Segal-Garcia, Chair of the Board of MORE ART,INC to coordinate Sunday's performance. Excited about the upcoming event, Dr. Kane said, "Many of the voice students at Cal State LA have attained a professional level of performance as is demonstrated by many of our graduates going on to perform professionally. This event on February 7 is a perfect example of the great reputation Cal State LA opera and vocal area has earned. The nine graduate student and recently graduated classical singers who will perform on Sunday are already budding performing artists who can bring tears to your eyes by the beauty of their performances".
